About

Omar Caloca is a makeup/visual artist with different areas of expertise. He holds a Global Makeup Diploma from Blanche Macdonald Centre and a Certificate of Digital Painting from Syn Studio.

He has traveled to 60 countries in the last years, gathering reference and learnings that inspire his artwork.

His main theoretical interests that give foundations to his work of art are human psychology, literature, the interpretation of dreams, philosophy, mythology, natural laws, sociology and science.

The aim with his work is to make ideas in life visible, ideas that, otherwise, are too abstract to put into words and sentences.

Through his artwork Omar shares stories and learnings hoping that it will benefit the viewer with new decoded knowledge. The final objective of his work is to raise global consciousness; (especially but not only) raising awareness on equality and environmental health.

"I really believe some facts can't be explained only with the aid of words. Visual art is a complex yet universal full language and must be used with a purpose".
